1-A Honsha Honden 1899.04.05 A building for enshrining three goddesses. Reconstructed in 1571.
1-A-(1) Tamagaki 1952.03.29 A roofed board fence surrounding the Honden. The Windows at the top the fence are fitted with wooden gratings.
1-A-(2) Akezunomon 1952.03.29 A clay tile roofed gate with four outrigger posts, built at the back of the Honden. Reconstructed in 1584, but using doors made in 1241.
1-B Honsha Heiden 1899.04.05 A building for connecting the Honden with the Haiden.
1-C Honsha Haiden 1899.04.05 A building for worshipping the divine spirit. Inside, columns stand in rows, with a ceiling profile in the shape of an inverted "W". Reconstructed in 1241.
1-C(1)L Sayu naishibashi (hidari-naishibasi) 1899.04.05 A roofed connecting bridge extending from the Nishi-kairo toward the edge of the Haiden.
1-C(1)R Sayu naishibashi (migi-naishibashi) 1899.04.05 A roofed connecting bridge extending from the Higashi-kairo toward the edge of the Haiden.

2-(1) Takabutai 1899.04.05 A stage where court dances dedicated to the divine spirit are performed.
2-(2) Hirabutai 1899.04.05 A board floor for ceremonies, constructed in front of the Haraiden.
2-(3)L Sayu-gakubo (sa-gakubo) 1899.04.05 A building for playing music (Japanese style music) accompanying court dance performances.

3-A Sessha marodo-jinja Honden 1899.04.05 A building for enshrining five gods(brother of the goddesses enshrined in the Honsha Honden). Reconstructed in 1241. Repaired in 1433.

* 4 Sessha marodo-jinja Haraiden 1899.04.05 A place for purifying the participants of festivals. Reconstructed in 1241. Repaired in 1433.
* 5 Higashi-kairo 1899.04.05 A roofed corridor extending from the Honsha Haraiden, passing alongside the Haiden and connecting with the land on the northeast. Reconstructed in the latter half of the 16th century.
* 6 Nishi-kairo 1899.04.05 A roofed corridor extending from the Honsha Haraiden, passing alongside the Haiden and connecting with the land on the west. Reconstructed in the latter half of the 16th century.
** 7 Asazaya 1899.04.05 A building where Shinto priests gather before beginning their ceremonies.
** 8 Nobutai 1899.04.05 A stage for performing Noh plays, dedicated to the divine spirit. Constructed in 1680. Repaired in 1827.
8-(1) Hashigakari 1899.04.05 A roofed bridge for Noh plays connecting the Nogakuya with the Nobutai.
8-(2) Nogakuya 1899.04.05 A building where Noh players prepare and wait for their appearance on stage.
** 9 Agemizuhashi 1899.04.05 A wooden bridge connecting the Higashi-kairo with the land on the south. The platform projecting from the side of the bridge used to be the place where water would be ladled up in a gesture of offering to the gods.
** 10 Nagahashi 1899.04.05 A wooden bridge connecting the Nishi-kairo with the land on the south. Offerings to be presented to the gods used to be carried through this bridge.
** 11 Sorihashi 1899.04.05 A wooden bridge connecting the Nishi-kairo with the land on the south. Formed like a large arc, with vermilion-lacquered balustrades.
** 12 Otorii 1899.04.05 A large wooden Torii gate erected in the sea, with a Japanese cypress bark roof and with four outrigger posts. Reconstructed in 1875.
** 13 Sessha Daikoku-jinja Honden 1899.04.05 A building for enshrining a divine spirit called Daikoku ten. Gable construction with the entrance on one of the gable ends. Reconstructed in the latter half of the 16th century.
** 14 Sessha Tenjin-sha Honden 1899.04.05 A building for enshrining a divine spirit called Tenjin. Combined hip-roof and gable construction with the entrance on one of the gable ends, similiar to dwelling construction.
Verse-linking meetings were held in front of the altar. Founded in 1556.
14-(1) Watariro 1899.04.05 A roofed corridor connecting the Nagahashi with the Tenjin-sha Honden.
** 15 Gojunoto 1900.04.07 A five-storied pagoda. Strongly curred eaves and pointed rafters show the influence of the Zen sect building style. Founded in 1407.
** 16 Tahoto 1901.08.02 A two-storied pagoda with a shingled roof. The upper story is circular in plan. Founded in 1523.
** 17 Massha Araebisu-jinja Honden 1904.02.18 A building for enshrining a divine spirit called Susanoo no mikoto. A vermilion-lacquered small building. Reconstructed in 1441.
** 18 Massha Hokoku-jinja Honden (Senjokaku) 1910.08.29 A very large building roofed with tiles, with gold ornamentation on the eave tiles. The ceiling and inter-column fitting were never completed. Founded in 1587.
** 19 Sessha Omoto-jinja Honden 1949.02.18 A building for enshrining Oyamazumi no kami and other gods. Well-known for the special type of shingle roofing used here. Reconstructed in 1523.
** 20 Hozo 1949.02.18 A warehouse for storing Shinto treasures. Elevated floor type. Horizontal members pentagonal in cross section are assembled to form the walls.
