Kyoto City Scenic Zone Ordinance | Category 1: Areas that have an especially outstanding natural environment: The natural and historical landscape must be preserved in it its existing state. Category 2: Areas that have an outstanding natural environment: The natural and historical landscape must be preserved in its existing state. Category 3: Areas that have a well-maintained natural landscape: Consideration must be given to maintaining the existing natural and historical landscape. The necessary regulations on architectural action, etc., have been established to accomplish this purpose. |
Permission Large-scale works must be submitted to the Kyoto City Aesthetic Landscape Committee for review and approval. |
